Life Skills 101 — Series III: Class 16
Service Description
In this class, you’ll realize wrongdoing isn’t just “something bad people do.” It often begins when the spirit wanders unguarded, and the harm inflicted on another becomes the first movement in a consequence that eventually returns to the one who caused it. You’ll also see crime through a sharper, more unsettling lens: the wrongdoer is not a stranger to the community, and the extremes we condemn in others reflect capacities that exist across the entire socio-economic landscape. Like one leaf cannot yellow without the whole tree’s silent participation, individual wrongdoing reveals what society permits, overlooks, excuses, or leaves for someone else to repair. By the end, you’ll stop outsourcing “evil” to an outsider class and start asking the real question: what in us, and among us, makes this possible, and what must be confronted, removed, or restored so fewer people are forced to endure humanity’s complicit appetite for pain?
